The purpose of this writing is to understand how a visually impaired husband comprehends the concept of a harmonious family ("keluarga sakinah") and the efforts and practices involved in building such a family. The type of writing used is field research, presented as a case study that is described descriptively regarding the efforts and practices of a visually impaired husband in building a harmonious family. The subject of this writing is a visually impaired husband. Data collection techniques include interviews and observations. Data is processed using editing and classification techniques, then analyzed and summarized. Based on the results of this writing, it is found that the practices of a visually impaired husband in building a harmonious family involve working together, mutual respect, trying to accommodate each other's preferences, utilizing quality time with the family, controlling emotions, and maintaining mental strength.
